Wonderful book! I missed LookMumNoComputer from it.
Beautiful book, great service!!
Skimmed through it as soon as I got it. Seemed very much in depth and daunting (SO much content), but upon reading meticulously- found the information on the theory and application of audio retainable and easy to understand. Moving on to the next chapter soon!
Only about halfway through, but so far, so good. It's great to have all this knowledge in between two covers instead of watching 100s of YouTube videos to find the thing you need to know.
Love it, we are proud to sell this book!
This is a terrific book (I actually have both books, and both are great). It contains a solid introduction and explanation of most of the types of modules that exist, interview with musicians and designers of modules that talk about their philosophies and the histories behind the music and hardware, and inspiring examples of patches. I can recommend it.
On modulargrid.com there just appeared a "Patch and Tweak" 4hp blind panel. Where can I get that?
Great book, love it, however I’m going to echo a previous reviewer: where’s the online editor?
Switched On Bap
Love this Book!!! Wheres the online editor tho? I want to draw some patches!!
Whether you’re new to modular or not, this is a fantastic book. I especially love to share it with friends who are just tipping their toes in, or even if they don’t think they’re interested in modular, but are generally curious about synth and music learnings. Highly, highly recommended
Really good book - read it cover to cover over a few days and loved it all. Some great patch ideas for inspiration and some very interesting interviews. Very much recommended.
The best possible introduction to modular synthesis
I am really, really impressed with this book. It starts off with a clear introduction about every to do with sound synthesis and an introduction that even experienced synthesis-lovers can learn from. Very informative, very well written. The images and descriptions of the modules in the book are superb. I particularly liked the patch tips, they are in a general format so you can apply the patch techniques with the modular setup you currently have. Its the definite modular bible.
